The owner is great to talk to. Really "Down to Earth". He'll offer you anything he has so you'll feel as comfortable as possible. Coffee is so great. He will go out his way to make sure you have your food to your room. Best motel owner I've came in contact with. And what a great night sleep with peace. No disturbance.

As we were getting settled in, my kids overheard the woman make a rude comment to the man about checking us in after hours. The man stood up for us saying, "what was I supposed to do, leave them out there?" No, he wasn't, he did the right thing. And I am grateful to him, otherwise we'd be sleeping in the car.
I highly recommend Red Land Motel.
My kids and I were stranded on our way home. It was around 1-2am, and though the motel hours were 7am - 10pm, the lights were on and the office was open, but no one was at the desk. I called the number and a woman answered. I appeared to have woken her. She told me someone would be out shortly.
This is a quaint, well managed little old motel. If you have occasion to be in Washington its a steal.
Room was old, but clean. Beds extremely comfortable to 3 exhausted individuals.
The next morning the man continued to show hospitality by offering breakfast and a place to wait, as I waited for a tow.
Remodeled and worth checking out. Damon is a great host and goes beyond the duties of front desk/reception.
A nice man checked us in, even provided a "hardship" discount.
